I came to The Healing Codes, and getting certified as a Healing Codes Coach/Practitioner, sort of through a back door.

Most people know me as a publishing coach and/or author (Abundant Gifts, MotherStyles, and 9 other books). Recently I've added "Certified Healing Codes Coach-Practitioner" to "what I do," and here's why.

My Healing Codes Experience

Some years ago, I heard a fascinating teleseminar in which Dr. Alex Loyd explained a new method of healing that very much interested me. It seemed free from the "hype" and "mysticism" of what little I'd heard about "energy healing." I told a friend about The Healing Codes, she bought the package (which I could not afford at the time), and started telling me about all the wonderful results she and her family were experiencing.

It took around two years for me to finally get The Healing Codes and start doing them myself. That was in June 2007. My full story is on the testimonial page, but the short of it is, 3 months after starting to use The Healing Codes, in Septemeber, I had a TIA (mini-stroke). I recovered quickly and completely (thank God), and was asked by two doctors to enroll in a clinical trial to insert a device to, essentially, "plug up the hole" in my heart (called a PFO) so that I would not have any more TIAs.

I continued to do The Healing Codes between September, 2007 and January, 2008, when I underwent the clinical trial. I used the Codes to work on the issues of my heart, not expecting any physical results. Yet when I came to after the "procedure" and asked my husband what happened, he said, "The hole was too small by the time they got in, so you're out of the trial."

When I went in for my follow-up appointment with the head of the Edward Heart Hospital, Dr. McKeever, he shrugged and said, "I've only heard of 3 or 4 cases of a spontaneous closing of a PFO in my entire career." He's the one who called it that, not me. My own doctor, Kathleen Collins, who has a DO and MD, said, "The only explanation is that you've been doing The Healing Codes."

Doctors continued to test, found nothing. So now I'm off of the Plavix and several other medications I had been on.

That explains only in part why I'm enthusiastic about The Healing Codes.

Contacting Dr. Alex Loyd

I contacted Dr. Alex Loyd in 2008 about a matter and frankly, I did not expect an answer. You know when you fill out those forms on a website, you wonder if anyone ever even sees them.

Dr. Loyd contacted me right away and we discussed my concerns. Then he found out I was a publishing coach and editor, and said, "I've been writing a book on The Healing Code for six years. Can you help me get it published?"

So I became the book shepherd, lovingly editing and seeing it through the publishing process with Intermedia Publishing Group. The Healing Code book was launched in mid-2010 and quickly became a bestseller. I believe that's because people buy the book, try the Code that's given, find it works, and tell other people about it. Word of mouth has always been the best advertisement for a book.

The theory is revolutionary, in my opinion. It fascinates me that it is based both on science (I try to keep up with the latest research on all this, because I find it personally fascinating) and, interestingly, ancient Scriptures, such as the writings of the Old and New Testaments. It was Solomon who said, "Guard your heart above all else, for from it flow all the issues of life." Now modern science is validating that indeed, all of life's issues stem from one source. The Healing Code expands on what that is and how it all works out, and what to do to heal it, and testimonials of healing confirm that the theory must be true.

So I got certified as a Healing Codes Coach/Practitioner by Dr. Loyd so I can help people deal with the source of their issues. I seek to do so lovingly, in the utmost confidentiality and integrity.

My Particular Kind of Healing Codes Coaching

Unlike some coaches, I am not trained in other healing or energy modalities. The Healing Codes comprise a completely different system from acupressure points, acupuncture, chakras or modalities that use the meridian system, Reiki, EFT or anything else. The Healing Codes is its own system, and that is all I do.

I'm also not a counselor. I do not need to spend a lot of time with you delving into your past. We do not work on cognitive or behavioral changes because our experience is, once "the heart" changes, thinking and behavioral changes follow fairly easily. (As I work with clients, it daily blows my mind that this stuff works!)

Our sessions are brief and focused on The Healing Codes protocol outlined in the book and the Healing Codes Manual (which is part of The Healing Codes system). What I can do as a trained Coach is uncover the true sources of your issues, including any hidden or generational memories, and give you Custom Codes to heal those specific memories/pictures.

I will also give you a protocol to follow on your own, giving you confidence to take charge of your own healing journey.

I can work with you whether your issue is a health, relationship or career issue. As an author and publishing coach, I am particularly interested in creative or success blocks, but I can help you with any issue, because the approach is the same no matter what it is.

I will work with you no matter who you are or what you believe. I myself am an imperfect follower of Jesus, and am fascinated by the spiritual aspects of healing (see my www.christianhealingfromtheheart.com site if you're interested), but I will give you loving support no matter where you are coming from. As Dr. Alex Loyd says, my job is to love, not to judge.
